YES! MAN

Oh I do love 'Yes Man!' :)

As you can probably tell I just watched it and for some strange reason it always seems to make me really really happy! :) I love the Polaroid picture of Jim and Zooey on the bike, with Zooey's bike hat! Its sooo cute :)

Maybe its the fact that Jim Carrey always seems to find a way to make me laugh and Zooey Deschanel's clothes are always so pretty!






Today I have already continued to work my way through the gigantic Cadburys Diary Milk bar that the parents bought me for Christmas, its always so appealing just laying there on the table, how can I resist! :)

I'm majorly happy because snow has been forecast for this week :D Even though that probably means we won't get any, it would be nice to get some nice white snow. America always seems to look so beautiful in the snow and it would be really nice for London to look the same :)

I went to lunch today at my Granddad's house, which was really nice. Although he wants me to help him cook and Cooking + Kirsty= Inedible (haha) My speciality's include jacket potato, pasta, beans on toast and apple crumble. I think I should begin to learn how to cook this year. yes that would be fun :)

Ever since my nanny passed away my grandad had gotten really into cooking and today he made us smoked salmon starter, chicken for main with vegetables (some of which he grows) and apple pie (apples from his garden) and it really was very very nice :)

Its back to college tomorrow. I must admit I am looking forward to going back in because it does get to that time of year where I get a little bit bored. At least at college there is always something to do. :)

I'm glad I've started to write on my blog again, I missed it and I've missed talking to all of you! :)

and so 2010 begins :)

So its now 2010! :)

I can tell that this year is going to be one of the busiest and most important years so far! To start with I am having University interviews fairly soon to try and get into a paediatric nursing course :) I really really want to be a nurse and I'm just worried that my maths isn't good enough. But I'm going to try my very hardest when it comes to the entry exams, I really am :D

Then I have my A-Levels as well. So many important things to do :)

On other news my first proper outing in the year 2010 was to London Oxford Street with Miss Madison Giddings :) It was soooo much fun today and I finally bought a new calender (Harry Potter of course ;), 'Yes Man' (Only £3 :o) and 'The Hangover' (I just love that film sooooo much!) I just watched it in fact :)

Recently I was bought a dress for Christmas from my parents and I really like it :) I wore it the other night when I went to our local pub with some friends and it was soo comfy. I just love the flower print and the colours used! :)

I love the fact that 'Topshop' has a vintage section now! Although it is expensive and I can never afford anything in it, its sooo pretty to look at! Some of the scarfs and bags are amazing! Ohh to be rich... ;)

I'm going back to college on Monday, which I am looking forward to; but I can't help thinking just how quick this year is going to go! But one of my main resolutions is to achieve my goals for the future :) I'm going to try and have positive thinking all the way :D

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! :)

I can't believe its 2010 already! 2009 went so quickly and I have a lot to be thankful for in this year; even though there were some sad moments, the majority of the year was very enjoyable.

I hope everyone enjoyed themselves yesterday/today. Some friends and I went to London to watch the fireworks. It was amazing and such an experience :)

I will be spending Christmas with my parents and Grandad this year :)

There's still snow on the ground here in London since it snowed on Friday, so that may mean a white Christmas, which I have never had before! :)

18 at last! :)

Woooo! I am now officially 18! :) Sorry that the post is a bit late. I have now officially been 18 for 15 days :)

I had such a lovely birthday! My family made my day really special and so did my friends at college. Madison (and her creative skills) made posters of me and put them all around the college... It was sooooo funny! :) I walked up the stairs to be greeted by a picture of my face! (haha)
I had a wonderful lunch time as Madison's mum had made me loads of cupcakes and Madi had made me a birthday book with lots of pictures, since I was 17 inside. A LOT of private jokes were put in here also :)

In the evening I went to a small Italian Restaurant with my parents and my friend Sophie. The food was sooooo yummy and we all had such a great time :) Sophie choosing her dessert was pretty funny to be honest ;)

On the Friday was my party! I was sooo excited all day, except for the fact that Miss Madison was not very well :( so she couldn't come. But she is better now and that's all that matters :) All of the girls came round in the evening and I opened the bundle of brilliant presents that my friends had bought me :) Thanks girls! :D

Then we posed for some pictures and I blew the candles out on my FABULOUS birthday cake. It was a Lost cake that Madison's mum had baked for me :)

The limo arrived and took us to Planet Hollywood in London. It was soooo much fun! On the way down there the music was up to 100 and we were singing our hearts out! Then we went inside the restaurant for my first cocktail! It was very nice I must say :) :)

All of my friends put a shout out on to the screen that it was my birthday and the DJ wished me a happy birthday too :) It was all so lovely!

After talking to some pretty random people we got back inside the limo and continued the party! We stopped at Embankment for pictures and then all my friends were dropped back home. It was soooooo much fun! Thanks everyone for a brilliant birthday! :) I had a wonderful time :D :D

Hi everyone,

I thought I'd write a post today as I haven't written one for about 1 month!

I'm really excited as it's my 18th birthday on the 25th November :) I can't wait. I'm going out to London with some friends, which I can't wait for! :)

As this is my 2nd year at college there have been a lot of 18th birthday parties, which is really good fun :D

Having all of these parties means that I can buy more dresses, which makes Kirsty smile :)

On Friday night I went to my friend Leia's 18th and then yesterday night I went to my friend Michael's 18th birthday house party and it was really good fun. They both looked as though they enjoyed themselves which was really good. :)

Trick or Treat?

Happy Halloween everyone!

Wow! Halloween has come around quickly this year, don't you think?

I am pleased to announce that one of my all time favourite films is on today; 'Halloween Town'. I used to love this film and so I'm hoping it is still as brilliant as I remember it :)

Well since it is the witching hour Madison and myself are having a change of course on our plans. We were originally going to go to Carnaby Street in London, but now we are going to a 'spooky' night at an old fort not too far from where we both live. Ahhhh! I'm scared but it should be VERY funny ;) I'm not so good with the whole scary stories or films, I prefer the more light hearted Halloween, but I know this will be great fun and Madi has assured me that it is for 6+ so I am presuming that it won't be scary :s haha

Anyhooo I've had a good week this half term. It's been very busy though. I've been shopping A LOT and my friend Ambra has returned home from her rather wonderful trip to New York. I am soooo jealous! But she had a fabulous time which is just wonderful :)

On Thursday one of my friends decided to have a random house party which was rather excellent, (even though Greg did say it was average haha ;) we all had lots of fun :)

I hope everyone has a wonderful time trick or treating and I want to see lots of pictures of decorations and what everyone did :) hehe
