Trick or Treat?

Happy Halloween everyone!

Wow! Halloween has come around quickly this year, don't you think?

I am pleased to announce that one of my all time favourite films is on today; 'Halloween Town'. I used to love this film and so I'm hoping it is still as brilliant as I remember it :)

Well since it is the witching hour Madison and myself are having a change of course on our plans. We were originally going to go to Carnaby Street in London, but now we are going to a 'spooky' night at an old fort not too far from where we both live. Ahhhh! I'm scared but it should be VERY funny ;) I'm not so good with the whole scary stories or films, I prefer the more light hearted Halloween, but I know this will be great fun and Madi has assured me that it is for 6+ so I am presuming that it won't be scary :s haha

Anyhooo I've had a good week this half term. It's been very busy though. I've been shopping A LOT and my friend Ambra has returned home from her rather wonderful trip to New York. I am soooo jealous! But she had a fabulous time which is just wonderful :)
On Thursday one of my friends decided to have a random house party which was rather excellent, (even though Greg did say it was average haha ;) we all had lots of fun :)

I hope everyone has a wonderful time trick or treating and I want to see lots of pictures of decorations and what everyone did :) hehe

A Cat's Autumn

Autumn has finally arrived in London now. The weather has definitely gotten much colder than it was. I never used to like Autumn that much but looking at the colours this year I think it is so pretty. Also the fact that my birthday is in autumn/winter helps me to enjoy this beautiful season even more! :)
I love to be able to walk along and kick the leaves when no ones looking :) (hehe).

Yesterday, as the clocks went back and I was sitting at home a little bored; My parents and I decided to go down to a local woods near to where we live to walk our dogs; Barney and Teddy. The colours were ever so pretty although they were nowhere near as striking as the beautiful pictures that Amanda from www.amandaatkins.blogspot.com took recently. The pictures really made me feel the autumn spirit. :)

Another sign that autumn has arrived is the fact that my cat Kit has hibernated inside our house. When ever winter is near my pets just decide to stay indoors, which is ever so cute but they need to go outdoors sometimes! :)
Kit mainly sleeps on his chair, which he takes over in our conservatory :)

I have decided that the dress that I bought the other day for the party I am attending this week, is actually going to be worn to my 18th birthday celebrations with my friends instead. This is because it is such a pretty dress that I think may be slightly to dressy to wear to a house party :s (haha!) I have decided to take a trip to our local shopping centre with my mum soon so I am hoping to spy a dress I like for the party then :)
I am really looking forward to Halloween this year but the slight down side is the fact that in England Halloween is not treated as a light hearted fun celebration; it always consists of some local yobs destroying private property which is not what Halloween is about at all! It would be so nice if Halloween was more like it is in America. The decorations I have seen in films and pictures always looks superb! So amazing! :) When I was younger I used to love a film by 'Disney' known as 'Halloween Town'. I don't know if anyone else has heard or seen it but it is truly such a magical film, which really reminds me of Disney Land and when I saw the film I just wanted to go there! :) The costumes, make-up and scenery is just brilliant!
Another Halloween film that I enjoy watching around this time of year is 'Hocus Pocus'. I remember I used to be so scared of this film when I was little but now it is so funny!
I hope everyone is enjoying their autumn season! :)
Have a nice week everyone! :)

Dress, shoes and half term! :)

Well it is now half term (which I am glad to announce) I'm looking forward to this break as I've got quite a few things to do. :)

On Monday I'm going to my friend's house, which is always fun and on Thursday I'm off to a party, which should be really good as well.
In fact yesterday I went to Lakeside with Miss Madison and I bought a new outfit to wear at the party. I am actually in love with my new dress and shoes :) They are soooo pretty :) Good old H+M never lets me down on the dress front!
I can't actually wait for this party on Thursday, it should be soooo much fun! :)

Also on Halloween, America is bringing some of it's most wonderful Halloween traditions over to Carnaby Street in London which will be brilliant. I think I'll dress up as a witch :)
I'm going there with Madison to take part in all of the Halloween treats. I can't wait! :D

I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend and hope they have a fabulous week as well :)

Camden Town

Hi everyone!

Sorry about not posting a blog entry recently. I've been really busy so I have quite a lot to write about :)

College is very busy as normal. I have soooooo much coursework but I am hoping that it is all ok and that I will get it all done!

The Friday before last my friends and I all went to Wildwoods, which is such a lovely restaurant in my home town. I would definitely recommend it. It serves a range of different dishes from pasta to pizza, from fish courses to hamburgers :) I had this really really nice chicken and pasta dish which was so lovely. In fact most of my friends had this apart from the boys who just had to comment on the fact that we had all ordered the same! But it wasn't on purpose (haha)
After we all went back to Sophie's house which was really funny. She has this little games room with music and stuff and so it was a lot of fun :)

(Seriously what we make the boys do! lol)
On Staurday, after taking a trip to the Anglia Ruskin University open day; Madison and I went to Romford and then she came back to my house. It was a totally random night which consisted of a lot of laughs and a lot of the computer. We took some very random pictures (which you have probably seen on Madzy's blog) It was a totally fabulouzo night! :)
(Madison trying to swish her hair! :)

Then the Friday just gone we all decided to go out to the cinema to see 'Zombieland'. I didn't really think the film was that great but the night was so good. I sat next to Madison and I accidentally elbowed her, so I apologized and for some reason said 'Oh sorry for emailing you!' As a response Madi and I started to laugh so hard :) The amount of popcorn that I got thrown at me by the boys, I mean seriously! haha. The night made me laugh lots. I just kept giggling.
After we all went back to Alan's house in his spider infested shed. Luckily I'm not too bad with spiders but some of my friends were running around :)

So moving on to yesterday... Camden was the location but because the tube is all messed up at the moment because of all the work that they have been doing for about 2 years now (and it's still not done!) Madzy and I had to take a slight detour involving 3 trains, but for some reason this proved to be much quicker than the normal way we go :)

When we got there Madison started to film to show all of you bloggers the atmosphere that Camden Town holds. We wanted to go and find a great little vintage shop that we had been in before. It's called 'Berty and Gerty's' and we met the co-owner (oh la la). I bought a new purse which I just love and a hat which I have in grey and wear a lot so thought that I would buy it in black. It's a lovely beret with a bow on the front. I just love it! Madison bought a really cute little bangle! It's soooooo pretty :)

It was such a fabulous day! We then went back to Madison's house for the evening. We went on the computer for quite a lot of the night and listened to music (which had to involve karaoke ;) Then we had pizza, pasta and garlic bread which was majorly yummy!

The pictures from the day are below...

Thanks for a great day Madison! :)

I hope everyone is well and having a lovely October!

It's a girl! Congratulations! :)

This week, on Wednesday I was pleased to find out that a family friend has just had a baby girl. So I am pleased to announce the new arrival of baby Esme! I was so excited to here that Sian had finally had her daughter and I can't wait to see her!

As a matter of fact Sophie and I had planned to go to Lakeside on Wednesday (in Sophie's car :), so whilst shopping and buying yet more clothes :s :) we took a detour to H + M so that I could buy Esme, Sian and Carl some presents on the birth of their daughter. We loved looking around at all the baby clothes and toys, but after a while I finally decided what to get her: a pink 'Hello Kitty' dress, a pink 'Hello Kitty' cardigan and a little baby bunny :)
(Sorry the picture is a bit messy, my mum had all of her art stuff out! haha)

Work experience wasn't that great this week. I was a bit bored but a paramedic bought me a 'Kit Kat', which was sooo lovely of him :)

On Friday Ambra, Sophie and I decided to go to the cinema to see Fame, in the evening. We even bought our tickets, but after deciding whether we should see that or 'The invention of lying' we opted for the latter. I actually really enjoyed it. It wasn't the best film but it was quite funny and it had Jennifer Garner in it who is so funny and such a sweet actress :) Ricky Gervais is also hilarious! :)

We even saw some people from college who Sophie was able to give a lift home in her car as well. It was one of those nights where the film might not have been fabulous but the night was brilliant! I got the giggles so much and then all of my Aero bubbles fell out in the bottom of my bag (hahahaha) to my friends amusement. ;)

We are planning to go to see Fame on Tuesday night after college because it is 'cheap Tuesday' at Vue cinemas. I can't wait to see it now! :D

Hope everyone is having a good weekend!
