'We'll Take Manhattan'

Hi Everyone :)

Yesterday night I watched a really good television film on BBC 4 :) It was based on the true story of the English Photographer David Bailey and the 60's Supermodel Jean Shrimpton; it was so good!

Before I had watched this film, I didn't know anything about them, but after watching it I've become really interested in their story and it left me wanting to find out more about them. I spent a lot of today looking at David Bailey's photographs on the Internet and they really are amazing! Jean Shrimpton just looks so beautiful in all of the pictures and I love her fashion!

Here are some pictures of the real David Bailey and Jean Shrimpton: (Found on Google)

The picture below is from the BBC4 Film 'We'll Take Manhattan'...

The above images are of Karen Gillan (left), the actress portraying Jean Shrimpton in the BBC4 TV Film 'We'll Take Manhattan' and the right handed image is of the Super Model 'Jean Shrimpton'.

The end of 2011 and the beginning of 2012

Wow! I haven't been on my blog for so long! It's definitely time to start writing again I think...
Quite a lot has happened since I last posted on here towards the end of 2010. In January last year, I left Uni after deciding that the course I was studying wasn't the write path for me, and am now working in a London office, full-time as a Office Junior and Administrator and as a Receptionist. I've just turned twenty in November and spent a lovely Christmas with my Family and my Boyfriend and his Family :) <3
I learnt a lot last year too; even though I lost the friendship of some people who I thought were friends; I have gained so much more, by realising that the people who are in my life now are the people who are most important to me and the people I love and care about the most <3
Last year I was also lucky enough to go to Disney Land Paris twice :) I went once in July with my parents and once in September with my boyfriend :) It was lovely, as always and the weather was so nice! Especially in September, it was so much hotter than I has expected :)
I've got some lovely holidays booked for this year too. In February, Billy has planned a surprise trip to somewhere in the UK, which should be lovely; and in the summer I am going to Rome with Billy too :) I can't wait to go! I've never been to Italy before and its a place I've always wanted to go too ever since I was little! I can't wait to see the Coliseum and the Vatican; It should be amazing! :)
